Hello guys and welcome back for another round of movie reviews, quarantine edition, with Movie Nerd, a place where you can be nerdy about movies, even in a pandemic:)))

So guys, because it took a bit longer with the Peninsula review to be posted, I tried and managed to find the time to write, compose, change, a lot, 2 new movie reviews which I will post, hopefully, tonight or in the following days. The second one I mean, not this one.

Before I dive into this review, a bit of a synopsis for you guys: in the film, Bill and Ted must write a song to unite humanity before time and space are destroyed.

So, as you can see from that synopsis, the plot is very basic and simple but that's why the movie is so good, because of it's simplicity and not being over complicated and confusing. I should say this, I loved the first two movies, two of my favorite movies of all time and this one came close to that because it really captures, largely, the same charm and goofiness that the originals have. Not only the goofiness of the movie but the goofiness of it's heroes as well.

Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, although older, still have that spark in this one as they did in the first two. The vibe still feels fresh and that is a big deal when this is a third movie in a franchise. It does not feel cheap and, although, feels familiar it has enough juice to make it stand on it's own, separate from the first two.

The comedy is well done, the chemistry between the two leads is still as strong as ever, the special effects are, most of the time, good and the story is simple and good, not overly stuffed with second and third plots, going in different directions and ending nowhere.

Overall, I really enjoyed it, I had a blast watching it and, if you are a fan of the first two I strongly recommend seeing this one as well, it's a great way to enjoy an evening after a hard day's work. I don't think that a fourth one will be made because it felt like the story has ended and very well I might add. It was a sequel that was worth the wait. 7.5/10

OK guys, that was the review for this one. The next review I will post will be on the live action Mulan. Until then, take care, stay safe, stay clean, stay movie nerdy and keep on reviewing!
