Hello guys and welcome back for another round of movie reviews, quarantine edition, with Movie Nerd, a place where you can be nerdy about movies, even in a pandemic:))) So, because we are forced to stay home because of this outbreak, this is day I don't really know anymore for me, because I kinda lost count and the movies are canceled and movie theaters are all closing, I will still provide content by watching movies at home and give you my take on them.

With the movie theaters closed, we turn our eyes to streaming services for entertainment content and some escape from all this madness and the most popular of all being Netflix, this action movie draw my attention and I very much enjoyed the trailer plus it has Thor and the Russo brothers as producers so I had to watch it.

My opinion about it comes next but, first, a bit of a synopsis for you guys: follows a black ops mercenary who must rescue an Indian drug lord's kidnapped son inDhaka,Bangladesh.

So, not much in terms of story but the movie really, really compensates that lack with it's awesome action and fight sequences and, some say that the movie is filled with over the top violence and they're would be right because the movie is filled with extreme violence and it kinda is very expressive towards violence. Basically the movie condones violence, is what I am saying and, in doing so, it drags down the quality of said movie.

Fortunately, and I think I am in the smaller group of critics or movie bloggers to say this, the movie is lifted up a bit by Chris Hemswort's eclectic performance and the marvelous and awesome stunt work that has been done on this movie because the director was also Chris Evan's stunt double in some of the MCU movies. Also, it has some blend of a John Wick movie , Taken and, weirdly enough, The Terminator.

Overall, one of the best action movies of this year, so far, alongside Bad Boys for Life but with a story that is not nothing that I haven't seen before. Leaving the story part aside, the movie is worth a Netflix watch if you want some awesome action fun, leaving apart the excesive violence. 7/10

OK guys, that is my review for this one. Next up, we take a little journey on Fantasy Island, because, physically it's not that possible anymore, until this thing is over and Vivarium. Until then, take care, stay safe, stay clean, stay movie nerdy and keep on reviewing!
