Hello guys and welcome back to another round of movie reviews with Movie Nerd, a place where you can be nerdy about movies and that's OK!

I am gonna start the review of this very emotional beast of a movie with a couple of quotes: We're the Avengers. We can bust arms dealers all day long but that up there, that's the endgame; We'll loose. Then we will do that together to; This is the end. The end of the path I started us on; We're in the endgame now.

So, those 4 quotes are from Rogers, Tony and Strange from the movies Age of Ultron and Infinity War. The reason why I posted this quotes is because of the impact that those quotes have in this movie and in the whole Infinity Saga. Although this movie features all of the characters that appeared in past Marvel movies, this is a Cap - Iron Man - Thor story. In fact, the whole 6 original Avengers.

If going to this movie, you are expecting Infinity War Part 2, don't because these two are very different movies. It wraps up very the Infinity Saga story so well and with so much emotion that we couldn't wish for a better ending.

So, a bit of synopsis for you, even though you don't need one: adrift in space with no food or water, Tony Stark sends a message to Pepper Potts as his oxygen supply starts to dwindle. Meanwhile, the remaining Avengers -- Thor, Black Widow, Captain America and Bruce Banner -- must figure out a way to bring back their vanquished allies for an epic showdown with Thanos -- the evil demigod who decimated the planet and the universe.

The movie takes a while before it really starts moving but, weirdly enough, it's not a bad thing, to be honest. It has a slow pace, in the beginning but, in the second half, it really starts to shift gears and your emotional states.

I am saying that because you will experience a range of emotions, from grief to happiness to sadness and then happiness and grief again. And it goes like that until the bitter end. Make no mistake, however, to consider this an all depressing movie. It has so much humor, I mean, more than I even imagined. It felt a bit off because of gravitas of the situation but I enjoyed the humor in all that grief. It was a nice change of pace, here and there.

The action is unbelievable plus, the final act, the final battle is one of the best I have seen, yet, in a Marvel movie. It's a tour de force, basically. It's epic, groundbreaking and on another level. You would think that cramming so many characters in a scene would not work and it would look very overstuffed and overblown but the Russo brothers found a way to make it work. And work it did.

Performances are off the charts from everybody, even from actors that you would not expect or seen in previous installments.

The effects, the action is great, the subtle nods to past MCU movies and the not so subtle nods are a great addition to the story and the ending of this incredible journey, a journey we experienced alongside these characters and the actors that played them.

I am not afraid to admit it, I got emotional a couple of times because, being a ultimate Marvel fan, I felt this movie right in the guts. It was a very emotional roller-coaster ride and not just this movie but the whole 22 of them, and, soon enough, the 23rd will be out to. But this is the culmination if the Infinity Saga I have waited since the first Iron Man movie.

It has some issues, of course. Like the portrayal of Thor in this movie is downright ridiculous, I mean it works for a few scenes but not for a whole 3 hour movie. The jokes don't always stick, unfortunately. But those issues are nothing compared to the sheer size of this movie and the feels that it delivers to you.

Overall, I am really satisfied with the ending, I thought they wrapped the story in the best way possible, with a very emotional good-bye and an interesting future ahead. Also, if you were expecting that Captain Marvel will play a bigger role, you were sorely mistakes because she is in it like 15 minutes max and it doesn't do really that much, expect to appear when the script needed her to appear. Also also, if you haven't seen the other 21 Marvel films before watching this, you will enjoy it the same so, my advice, is, if you really want to see this movie, watch the other ones because you will understand and you will feel the story better. If you don't, sucks for you then. Avengers, assemble!! 9.5/10

OK guys, that is my review for this one. Coming next are the reviews for the other 21 Marvel movies so tune in for that. Until then, take care, stay movie nerdy and keep on reviewing!
