Iron Man (2008) Movie Review or the start of an era

Hello guys and welcome back to another round of movie reviews with Movie Nerd, a place where you can be nerdy about movies and that's OK!

So, like I said in my review for Avengers: Endgame, I will mark this moment this historical moment in movie history with the review for the other 21 Marvel movies, starting with the one that started all, the first Iron Man. Just so you know, I did this review a couple of years back, when I began this whole movie review thing and it's not as complex as the reviews that I do now but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless. It's brief but it highlighted the most important things.

Today I'm reviewing the beginning of the MCU with this excellent movie based on the comic book with the same name. It began the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well as revive Robert Downey Jr.'s career.

This movie is the reason why the MCU is so popular today. This movie has everything. Excellent action, very good practical and CGI effects, humor, a great villain, very good editing and directing. It's smart and made a huge impact on comic book fans.

Even if you are not a comic book fan, you can appreciate and enjoy this movie. One of the best superhero movies ever made. Director Jon Favreau gives the MCU a start in the right direction. 8.9/10
